Like our father and grandfather, we were born and raised here in Chireno. In 2025, we decided it was time to provide quality products at a good price to this town and the surrounding community.

The "Bud" in Bud's Hardware is our dad, E.W. “Bud” Moore, who was born and raised here and grew up in his father’s general store in downtown Chireno.

Bud's Hardware was founded to meet the need for convenient access to hardware supplies. Folks in Chireno were tired of driving 30 miles one way for a PVC coupling or a rake.
